Yay! I just got back from my church retreat to KOTA KINABALU!!! had a major fun time there doing stuff. I dont know how to explain so i'll use the pictures. yay

Day 1 nov 29

The plane ride made us wake up at 3 something am... I guesse we were lucky cause the other church members had to wake up at 2 plus i think. Made some new freinds Kai wen and Zii Wen...no pictures of them though..weird

So after the plane trip went down to this place for lunch. Nice scenery right? Theeir papaya juice is disgusting though, never drink it.

Did you know bicycles grow on trees? lol

The boat ride to some island that none of us know what its called to do snorkelling. 

The other boat which we over took even though they left ALOT earlier then us...

Snorkeling fun! I almost lost the snorkels though... PJ helped me find them...After the snorkeling, we went back on the boat then to the hotel place i think. 

Day 2 nov 30 

Woke up quite early to visit Agape Methodist Church. We put up three performances that went ok... The rest of the day was free and easy to go shopping but i just went back to the hotel to play with Gideon. Haha...Lunch was good though:

We found this nice japanese restraunt called dream food. They have that little conveyer belt thing like sakesushi except its way cooler. They got a train pulling it along! They even got tunnels and stuff!!!

The train thingy did stop once though... i think Rachel broke it...

later we went swimming and ate a nice dinner at a seafood restraunt. At first we went to a restraunt that was having a wedding so it was really full so we walked along way backwards to another restraunt that was nice. We had fish, prawn (i dropped a poor prawn on the floor) deer meat, etc. (no pork though). 

Day 3 dec 1

Time to check out of the hotel.one group photo and then we wait for the coach because we all came out unusualy early to get out.

All the teens and tweens and preens and kids....

So after we checked out we went to Kellybay which took an hour or more I think... Cant remember what we were talking about...

At kellybay we took a boat that looked sort of like a house down the river to the river mouth to take pictures. Me David Justin...

yup at the rivermouth the veiw was superly super! 

My feet, the sea and the sand... There were cool little sand balls made by crabs all over the place..

On the trip back up the river for some water sports, YAY!!!

But first, Batik painting...

ARGH!! I have no pictures of the water sports!!! Never mind.. We did bodysurfing which was really fun except the waves kept pushing us sideways.. We could also try banana boating and the people in the boat capsized us for fun (=

The banana boating delayed us by a whole hour for some unknown reason... the coach ride up to the next place we were staying, Zen gardens, took like, 3 hours. PJ taught us a new song! it goes like this:

This is the song that never ends

Some people, start to sing not even knowing what it was

and they'll continue singing it forever just because

ok where was i...the trip took 3 hours of upish and downish roads in the mountains. Our favourite phrase was "my ears popped!"... When we arived the tour guide went down to buy sausages and cucumbers. When I got off the coach I got a feetful of mud...and i used up uncle Dennis water to clean it up. oops. 

Day 4 (last day=(  aww) dec2

Its cold at zen gardens! had to wear some long sleeve shirt and pants.. Anyway... This is mount KINABALU!!!! yay!! looks really good right!?

the van that we (were forced) to ride in instead of the coach for the long journey back. All the teen and tweens...

Before going back to the airport, we went to visit the treetop walk and the sulper baths there. It got really hot and I was still wearing the long sleeve stuff.

After the treetop walk which took forever to climb up and down (why cant they put elevators!?) i was so warm i jumped into the super cold spring water. FREEZING!!! Then we headed to some place where we were supposed to do jungle trekking..(again)

When we got there we were treated like VIPs! haha..jk... It was raining so we didnt go jungle trekking...yay! so tired. In the end we learnt about the rafflesia and other stuff in the forest...

So nevermind we went to a handicraft shop last and bought some shirts and random cool stuff.

This thumb piano was cool. I can play "jolly old saint nicholas" on it! cool! 

During the ride back to the airport the van was full of random stuff like truth or dare and the story game thing. And then the trip ended....
